Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments & Skin Science

The ProQual Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the beauty industry, and who want to develop their knowledge and skills in advanced aesthetic treatments.

The aims of this qualification are:

  • To develop an of the ethics and principles that underpin advanced aesthetic practice.

  • To develop an understanding of the skin science that underpins advanced aesthetic practice.

  • To build and demonstrate competence in a range of advanced aesthetic techniques.

  • To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested in providing aesthetic treatments.

RPL Fast Track Route

Do you have 3 or more years of industry experience carrying out treatments? Here at Aesthetics Lounge we offer Pro Quals RPL routes which allow you to bring to light your previous achievements in order to speed up specific units by providing evidence of previous achievements. Please note that evidence will need to be provided accordingly with Pro Qual Requirements and will still require assessment. This is a fantastic opportunity meaning that your previous achievements do not go unnoticed!

FOR EXAMPLE… If you already carry out treatments such as Microneedling or Chemical peels and you can provide evidence of this and show competence in these treatments, we may be able to use this to miss out additional Units within this qualification. Also if you wish to progress onto Level after this, we can use your Level 4 as evidence that you are already competent in microneedling and Chemical peels therefore we will be able to use this to apply for RPL route in Level 6 so you do not have to complete certain Units twice!

  • Candidates must be aged 18 or older, on the day that they are registered with ProQual.

    And must have One of the following:

    Hold the ProQual Level 3 Certificate in Pathway to Aesthetic Practices or an equivalent qualification.

    OR


    Have at least 5 years of verifiable experience working within the beauty sector.

  • Total Qualification time: 635 Hours

    Guided learning hours: 442 Hours
