1. What is the Aesthetics Lounge Academy address?
22 UNIT 6 HATHERTON COURT, HATHERTON STREET, WALSALL, WS4 2LA

2. Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking on our back car park on Windmill Street at the side of the building.

3. What is the reason for the model days? Will it be trainees doing my treatment?
Yes, however all of our trainee practitioners are fully qualified and will be under the direct supervision of medically trained Aesthetics practitioners.

4. What types of dermal fillers do we use?
At the Aesthetics Lounge Academy we use the Juvederm and Restylane range of dermal facial fillers, however for our buttock enhancement treatment we use Sculptra and Macrolane.

5. How does the “Miracle Nose Job” work? And who is it suitable for?
This treatment involves injecting dermal filler into certain areas of the nose to create more of the desired shape. This procedure will not make the nose any bigger but can not make the nose any smaller, however, is great for straightening bridges, hiding bumps, and humps and reshaping tips!

6. How long does the “Miracle Nose Job” last for?
This treatment can last up to 2 years! The reason it lasts longer than any other facial filler is because the filler is placed on top of the nasal bone, which is further away from the blood supply and does not move like other areas of the face.

7. How long does Lip Enhancement with dermal fillers last?
This treatment can last for up to 12 months, however, everyone is different on how fast their metabolism is, meaning that it can be absorbed quicker in some compared to others. Those with a higher metabolism may need to request thicker filler.

8. Do dermal filler injections hurt?
At the Aesthetics Lounge, we like to ensure that all of our clients have a comfortable treatment and so we use great numbing creams, which the client will put on during their consultation to numb the area prior to treatment.

9. Will I get bruising and swelling after treatment?
Everybody is different in whether they tend to bruise or swell. Some may get bruising and swelling and others may not get any at all. Those that swell may notice swelling immediately after treatment or some may not notice it until the morning after, as the second day always seems to be the worst for any swelling. After a few days, however, any bruising or swelling will subside and you will be advised to drink lots of water following treatment, which can along with Ibuprofen help to reduce any swelling.

10. What requirements do I require to register for a training course?
For entry onto the basic and advanced combined Dermal filler or Anti wrinkle Course course entrants require either an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (electrical side) or must be a qualified Nurse, Pharmacist, Dental Nurse/Therapist or Physiotherapist. In addition to this, we may also consider the selection of other health care professional qualifications and are happy to answer any equations regarding this.

11. On completion of my course, what will happen?
You will receive certification and will be asked to complete the appropriate number of case studies for different treatment areas within the next 3 months.

You will be set up with details for insurance and pharmacy registration and will be given your own prescriber and PDF form package to set out in the aesthetics industry!

12. How can I register onto a course?

14. Are deposits paid to book courses refundable if I change my mind? Deposits paid for course bookings are non-refundable at any time as they are used towards the preparation of your course. When booking is placed we start organising your course with immediate effect.

15. What happens to funds/booking deposits paid for a course if I don’t turn up or cancel?

Funds for a course deposit will not be refundable at any time of cancellation. Upon receiving your Booking request, our team work hard to start planning your course to ensure that we offer you the best service possible when you attend your course. Whilst planning your course there are a number of costs involved that your deposit goes towards. We initially take a booking deposit of up to £200 per course as a form of commitment before we organise your course for you. Please note that we reserve course spaces for students and if they do not attend or cancel we would lose out on the full course revenue for holding this reservation.

• If your full course balance has not been paid yet and you do not attend without informing us, please note that we may contact you via legal representatives to retrieve any costs incurred. If you wish to book a new date after this we would ask you to make payment in full before reserving any future bookings. This would include paying a new booking deposit to use our services.

• If you cancel within 72 hours of training and you have already paid the full course cost, this will not be refundable as it leaves us no time to fill this place and we will be at a loss of the full course cost. If you cancel within 72 hours and you have not paid in full we will attempt to recover the full cost of the course and this will still be payable.

• If you cancel within 4 weeks of your booked course date, your deposit will not be refundable, however we may offer you an altentive date that suits you best aslong as the remaining balance is still paid by the original course date booked. With balance paid in full by your original booking date, a new date would then be reserved accordingly.

• If for any reason you do not attend or cancel at any time due to medical reasons, you MUST provide proof of medical when requested and we may offer to put you on a cancellation list for an alternative course date for the same course only, or we may select a new date to reschedule your course to at a time that is more convenient for you. Please kindly note that deposit is still non refundable. We will only consider offering you a place on our cancellation list if we are provided with proof that medical reasons prevented you from attending your booked dates. For Medical reasons preventing you from attending your booked course we would prefer a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
